Well where do I start on my profile. I presume from the beginning. The very beginning. Well not quite the beginning of the universe because that would be silly. Many moons ago I was born in a hospital in the heart of Nottingham (Yep the place where the Robin Hood Legend is set). My time in Nottingham was very brief, in fact 2 years because I was placed in care. After spending 6 months in hospital I was placed with a nice family in the village of Warsop. Well obviously I went to various schools in the village from the age of 5. Whilst growing up I learned to play various musical instruments from the trumpet to the piano. Also my interest in computers was growing at the same stage seeing that we owned a ZX Spectrum for most of my younger age. One of my other hobbies came to being at a young age and that is collecting anything that is fox related. A freaky point though when I met my natural mother for first time in 1995 she said was I still interested in Rabbits. Well Foxes eat rabbits so wonder what my brain thinks.. LOL In 1995 I decided to go to University after going down to visit one of my ex-girlfriends every weekend practically whilst she was at Uni. Well unfortunately that decision led to us splitting up, but regardless I still went to Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen. University life started great, met loads of friends who are still my closest friends I have ever had. In the first year I put to rest my natural family once and for all because they were judging me which did not like seeing they did not know me. In that same year I started going out with someone too. Well the second year of university was more challenging because of the death of my Grandad which I did not take well at all, which led me to not really caring about the course any more. I had to skip a year because I failed to get a placement which meant I had to make new friends. That was ok. I proceeded into my final year and everything went wrong to the point where I had to repeat the year due to Ulcerative colitis, stress and still getting over an emergency operation. Oh, and I split up with the person who I was going out with too because she cheated on me. But that is all in the past and we are best mates now. In July 2000 I got my Computer Science Honours degree. It was a major thing seeing that I had spent 3 months going in and out of hospital due to Colitis. My dad came to Aberdeen which made me very happy. Anyway, 2 days after graduating I got my first full time job in Fife with a small company called Eosk. The company name has changed several times and I still work there. It is called Glentruim Business Systems now and it is semi-based in Dunfermline. Whilst working there it gave me enough cash to go abroad. My biggest adventure abroad was backpacking a wee bit into Europe. That was very good. It did make me semi-ill though because tried to cram far too much in. Since living in Fife I've made more friends (But still see my best ones in Aberdeen alot), I have tried to do various things ranging from playing badminton semi-seriously to Kung Fu. Both of these were brought to an end when my ankle was fractured at Kung Fu in a freak accident. Still getting over it because of the type it was and this has been 15months later. Since going out with Lauren it turns out that I am quite a pool shark. LOL |
